Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ success as a School Psychologist in a dynamic school setting near the Denver area. This contract opportunity offers a range of coverage options to match your expertise and interest—from full-time roles at middle and P-8 schools, to part-time positions in elementary settings. The role is fully onsite, working collaboratively with students, families, and educational teams to advance academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License in School Psychology
- Prior school-based experience required
- Proficiency with student assessment and report writing
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Calm, solution-focused approach in crisis situations
- Comfort using technology for service documentation and communication
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and responsiveness to varied backgrounds
- Ability to manage multiple school assignments and changing priorities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling services per IEP mental health goals
- Develop and implement interventions for academic and emotional needs
- Complete assessments (cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, adaptive skills)
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and progress monitoring
- Participate in MDT, IEP, and behavior support team meetings
- Provide crisis response, suicide/threat assessments, and safety planning
- Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners
- Deliver staff professional development and psychoeducation
- Conduct home/wellness visits and provide relevant community resources
