Collections Manager

As of June 4th, a highly successful law firm seeks an experienced Collections Manager to join the New York office. The person in this role will: Meet regularly with attorneys and firm leadership to discuss collections strategies, accounts receivable reports, and outstanding balances. Implement process improvements and new procedures in order to maintain a highly effective work environment. Handle adjustments or write offs, conduct reconciliations, process credits, and apply unallocated amounts. Monitor delinquent accounts and elevate these matters to the attention of specific attorneys or management. Communicate regularly with clients regarding unpaid amounts and payment plans. Respond to client inquiries or disputes. Requirements 5+ years of collections experience in a law firm or professional services setting. Effective leadership and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to be successful in a fast‑paced environment. Flexibility to work overtime to meet the demands of the position. Previous experience with a legal accounting software such as Elite or Aderant. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lease & LaBau, Inc.
