Leasing Consultant

Overview The Leasing Consultant is responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating tours, and responding to incoming inquiries about leasing. The position also interacts with current residents regarding day‑to‑day issues, renewals, and serves as a central point of communication among community residents, management, and maintenance teams. Responsibilities Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community Effectively lease apartments and sell property’s products and services in accordance with budget Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and major competition Assist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines Complete lease packets and files for each resident, including the lease, all addendums, and other forms Maintain regular attendance and punctuality Ensure proper documentation of all leasing activities Follow up with residents throughout the lease term Receive any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up Qualifications Understanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values High School diploma or GED 1+ years’ customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing role preferred Demonstrated support of BAL strategic drivers and ability to provide exceptional customer service Ability to work effectively on a team and maintain a professional image Resourceful and well‑organized with strong decision‑making skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite Physical Requirements Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, and hazardous materials Comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects Compensation Hourly: $27.00 – $28.00. Incentive compensation opportunities available and are performance based.
