Overview
Founded in 1958, Chief Executives Organization (CEO) is a selective community of leaders among leaders within the family of “O” organizations who seek the camaraderie of peers to share a passion for lifelong discovery in intimate local gatherings and global events. Limited to 2,000 global members, invitation-only CEO membership is extended to seasoned business executives who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in YPO.
Members helm companies, serve on prestigious boards, and hold the highest levels of office in government and nonprofit sectors. CEO members are diverse, globally curious, and represent extraordinary levels of achievement. CEO provides members and spouses with unique, life- enriching experiences through more than 25 major events, 150 local events, and 60 digital offerings each year.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing membership events in order to increase engagement of all CEO members. You'll work collaboratively with the Membership Engagement Manager and leadership in planning of local events in North America. Local Events consist of luncheons, cocktail parties, dinners, and other local gatherings.
Essential Responsibilities
Local Luncheon Management
- Secures dates and hosts.
- Coordinates logistics, including venue selection, menu planning, event timelines, budgets, A/V requirements, speaker coordination, attendee registration, and clear communication with venues and vendors.
- Ensures a seamless member experience before, during, and after each event.
- Provides logistical guidance and occasional on-site support for North American local events.
- Reconfirms the expectation of including prospective members with local event hosts and aligns with the Membership Manager on invitations.
- Drives member engagement through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
Local Event Administration
- Creates local events in Salesforce and on the CEO website, ensuring accurate event information and calendar listings.
- Inputs and maintains accurate member registration details.
- Handles all administrative requests such as event nametags, menus, place cards, event preparation, event materials, etc.
- Designs event materials using Canva, including menus, place cards, and escort cards.
- Develops and manages event budgets, track expenses, and ensures delivery within budget.
Event Communications
- Submits and manages digital communications through Asana.
- Ensures local event Marketing Cloud distribution lists are updated for email invitations in collaboration with the Marketing department.
- Oversees RSVP tracking and click rates in Marketing Cloud.
- Proofs and verifies all local events are updated in various communications including but not limited to CEO website, CEO Events Catalog, and CEO Upcoming.
Member Engagement & Additional Support
- Supports the Membership Engagement Manager in the planning and executing larger member dinners.
- Provide administrative duties related to Experience WOWs and Regional Events.
- Relationship development with members, spouses, and executive assistants.
- Support Couples and Women's Forums by maintaining existing forum lists and creating and updating profile packets.
- Perform administrative and data management tasks for NextGen.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning and member engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- High level of professionalism, stature, and interpersonal skills to interact with C-suite executives.
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor in high-stress situations.
- Strong customer service attitude and the ability to build collaborative relationships with members, vendors, and other staff.
- Experience planning and executing events.
- Ability to professionally collaborate in an internationally based, multi-cultural organization.
- Results driven and ability to be proactive in achieving desired outcomes.
- Ability to maintain, analyze, and report on data.
- Ability to create processes and structures.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, analytical, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Canva or another design platform.
- Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide effective solutions.
- Passion for excellence and team-oriented, collaborative work style.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft environment (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce.
- Positive, upbeat attitude.

Our team is in the office three days, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays as required in office days, and working from home two days each week.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
