Membership & Communications Coordinator

ANCOR seeks a professional to support the day‑to‑day operations of its Membership & Communications team. This full‑time, exempt position reports to the Director of Membership and can be fully remote, hybrid, or fully onsite at ANCOR’s headquarters in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia. Responsibilities Membership Responding to inquiries from current and prospective members. Managing individual and organizational contact records in an association management system (AMS). Coordinating with state provider associations to ensure member rosters are updated. Managing committee and community of practice rosters. Creating events in AMS for virtual programming. Supporting the development of resources for member benefits. Contributing to annual membership renewal campaigns. Supporting registration for conferences, events, and webinars. Providing onsite operational support for signature in‑person events. Monitoring engagement analytics to identify opportunities. Communications Editing and laying out content for email newsletters and marketing emails. Creating, editing, and publishing content for ANCOR and ANCOR Foundation websites. Managing media files for the ANCOR Links podcast and virtual programming recordings. Coordinating the scheduling of podcast guests. Supporting digital marketing efforts. Repurposing content for key messaging opportunities. Supporting the creation of government relations‑ and advocacy‑related messaging. Coordinating the timing of key external communications. Laying out, formatting, and editing documents and marketing graphics. Drafting and editing press messaging. Additional Responsibilities Managing accounts receivable processes. Coordinating with Finance team personnel for financial reconciliations. Coordinating the scheduling of National Partners' virtual presentations. Coordinating and supporting presenters on webinars. Carrying out other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2–4 years of work experience in communications, membership, community engagement, customer relations or related fields. Superior attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
