Remote A&P Mechanic Learjet 60 | $60$70/hr | Home-Based

Small crews, high standards: Work next to skilled techs who take pride in the job, in a culture where accountability is expected and egos are left at the door What You'll Do Perform line and heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on Learjet 60 aircraft Complete all work according to manufacturer manuals and FAA-accepted or approved data Follow applicable FARs, company procedures (GPM), and the FAA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program Read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and electrical drawings Move aircraft in the hangar and on the ramp, including tow-tractor operation Join weekly maintenance meetings to review project progress and resolve phase inspection, service, and repair issues with the Director of Maintenance Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area Expect 10–12 hour days in a fast-paced environment. What You Bring Required FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings 6+ years of experience meeting 14 CFR Part 65.83 requirements Experience with Learjet airframes and Pratt & Whitney PW305A engines Strong troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of FAR Parts 135 and 145 Your own full tool set Ability to travel, work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation Ability to lift 75 lbs Comfortable with computer data entry, Microsoft Office, and basic inventory management High school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver's license Nice to Have 2+ years of Learjet 60 maintenance experience AOG / mobile maintenance experience Home Base Cities (34) ATL, AUS, BNA, BOS, BWI, CLT, DAL, DCA, DEN, DFW, ELP, EWR, FLL, HOU, IAD, IAH, JFK, LAS, LAX, LGA, MDW, MCO, MIA, MSP, OAK, ORD, PBI, PHL, PHX, SAT, SFO, SLC, STL, SEA Living in El Paso or Titusville? Choose a Monday–Friday schedule or a rotating schedule and earn an extra $5/hr. Living anywhere else on the list? Work the 8/6 rotation.
