We are seeking two Credentialing Specialists to join our dynamic Vision operations team. In this role, you will perform vital credentialing and re-credentialing activities to ensure providers meet all industry, company, and NCQA compliance standards.

Working comfortably from your home office in the EST or CST time zones, you will serve as a key point of contact for physicians, office managers, and third parties to secure essential verification documents. If you possess a sharp eye for detail, strong data entry skills, and excel at managing time-sensitive deadlines with Excel and Outlook, this 3-month contract assignment is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your healthcare administrative expertise.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Perform provider credentialing and re-credentialing activities in compliance with NCQA and plan specifications. Maintain high data accuracy while processing applications, updating internal system records, and communicating with medical office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, track, and file provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, office managers, and third parties to gather required documentation.
• Manually enter credentialing data into internal systems within required daily turn-around times.
• Maintain personal email request queues, responding to inquiries within 3-5 business days.
• Generate, utilize, and analyze Excel reports to support business functions and committee meetings.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent credential required (Associate degree preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in data entry, medical office, customer service, or healthcare credentialing.
• strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines accurately.
