Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year recent Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond rapidly in changing patient conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to new electronic health records and various care environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and continuous nursing care to adult telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpreting and reporting changes
• Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and post-discharge care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
