Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Oncology

SCHEDULE
Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours per week available. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Duration: 16 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele and oncology
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates
- Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele, Chemo certification

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care strategies.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
- Required to float to other units if needed.
