Coordinate and allocate qualified care staff to vacant shifts while ensuring continuity of service for aged care clients. Monitor rostering and staffing platforms, including Shiftmatch and other scheduling systems, to secure and fill shifts efficiently. Respond promptly to urgent staffing shortages and unexpected scheduling issues. Maintain regular communication with care staff, rostering managers, schedulers, and internal team members to ensure smooth operations. Update and maintain accurate workforce, client, and scheduling records within rostering software platforms. Ensure all handovers and shift information are communicated clearly and accurately. Identify and escalate potential compliance concerns or staffing issues to the Brisbane team for follow-up. Provide additional administrative and scheduling support as required by the allocations team.

Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, community services, rostering, scheduling, recruitment, or administration roles highly regarded. Strong ability to work in fast-paced environments with outcome-focused performance expectations. Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication skills across phone and email. High level of technical literacy and confidence using multiple systems simultaneously, including rostering and workforce management platforms. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands. Ability to problem-solve quickly and make confident decisions under pressure. High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and compliance standards. Relevant administration, business, or healthcare-related qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
