Marketing & Innovation Project Coordinator

The Marketing & Innovation Project Coordinator serves as an integral part of marketing, innovation and the in-house creative team at Mahou USA. This individual coordinates and tracks the progress of new product release timelines and all internal creative timelines from start to finish and ensures timely delivery of high-quality assets. They work closely with the entire marketing team, and with cross-functional teams (ie; legal, production) to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget. They serve as the project manager for marketing initiatives with a specific focus on creative and new product releases. This person must have extremely strong organizational and communication skills and have a proven ability to collaborate with others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Works in conjunction with Innovation Manager, Vice President of Marketing, CMO and internal Creative Teams on new product releases, packaging renovations and creative / campaign development.
• Coordinates and collaborates with brand team and taproom team to ensure flawless execution ensuring for successful new product launches.
• Coordinates and communicates with packaging vendors. Communicates major milestones of innovation projects to marketing; naming, branding, TTB approval, packaging & production dates, and more;
• Attends weekly Brewery / Brand Connect meetings as project manager lead. Communicates follow up notes to key stakeholders in a timely manner and manages follow ups
• Attends weekly creative review meetings ensuring that creative team is leaving with clear feedback from key stakeholders and all parties are aligned on next steps. Co-manages the creative review meeting agenda and follow up notes.
• May be responsible for assisting with brief writing, editing, updating process, where applicable;
• Creative project plans: build and maintain schedules for brand identity, packaging design, retail and sales materials, digital content, photo and video production, and integrated 360 campaigns. Map review rounds, dependencies, production lead times, and final asset handoffs.
• Leads project status update meetings in conjunction with Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) priorities. Status and issue management: keep the project management system current with owners, dates, dependencies, decisions, and risks. Lead project status meetings, publish concise action lists, follow up on commitments, and escalate threatened deadlines with options and consequences.
• Is the 'power user' and leads workstreams via existing (and new) project management tools/software (wrike and other?) to a) ensure all parties are aware of progress, and inputting / approving accordingly, b) ensure that projects are moving at agreed pace and c) provides updates and reports as needed.
• Active participant marketing brainstorms (marketing, innovation, or other); capturing all notes, action items and follow-ups to be delivered on an as-needed (daily or weekly) basis to the team;
• Assists in the creation of presentation materials and documents for creative and innovation team;
• Contract manufacturing support: coordinate marketing and packaging deliverables for partner products, including partner briefs, artwork inputs, version control, approval routing, and handoffs to packaging and production teams. Escalate scope, timing, or specification changes to the accountable commercial and operations owners.
• Assists with any and all production needs on an as-needed basis i.e. logistics for photo/video shoots, third party and vendor relationships, resources needed for creative team and more;
• Responsible for supporting KPI tracking / after action reviews and archiving case study / key learnings reports and presentations for company reference;
• Reviews new project management / project workstream technologies to keep the company at the forefront of developments of project management;
• Process and reporting: maintain templates, launch checklists, and project archives; report on milestones, overdue decisions, workload, and recurring bottlenecks. Support post-launch reviews and carry lessons into the next project.
• Responsible for presenting and maintaining new hire marketing training;
• Possesses critical thinking skills to compliment and contribute to the creative process and innovation process.
• May serve as a proxy or assist Innovation Manager if needed;
• Responsible for special projects as assigned by the Innovation Manager / VP of Marketing
• Consistently produces opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in Marketing or Communications.
• Two to four years related marketing experience, alcohol/beverage industry experience a plus. Agency experience a plus, but not required.
