Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Are you a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Wisconsin might be the perfect fit for you!

• Schedule: Full-time; rotating schedule weekly or monthly between five 8-hour days and four 10-hour days. Call split with another full-time APC (Call Ratio 1:2, Beeper call, 15-minute response time required).
• Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; Surgical and Call coverage (occasional outpatient coverage may be included)
• Types of Cases: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery; surgical, inpatient, and call coverage. Locums will be expected to mentor and train new permanent hires.
• Credentialing: Estimated 60 days. Temporary privileges available. Hospital/surgery center privileges required.
• EMR System: Cerner

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum
• Certifications: BLS required (AHA only)
• Licensure: Wisconsin license required; IMLC not accepted
