Title: Administrative Technician (48851)
Pay: $19.48/hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Location: City of Virginia Beach
We're seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Technician to support daily operations, assist leadership, and keep processes running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working behind the scenes to support a larger team.
Job Summary
- Provide administrative and operational support to management
- Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Track data, budgets, and records with accuracy and attention to detail
- Respond to inquiries and assist with service requests professionally
- Maintain databases, files, and internal tracking systems
- Support budgeting, timekeeping, training records, and personnel processes
- Assist with routine training and policy communication
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Four (2) years of relevant experience and/or education beyond high school
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Comfort working with office software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in administrative, clerical, or office support roles preferred
Bonus Qualification: Familiarity with the Criminal Justice and Court System
