In this in-person role, you’ll need persistence, resilience, and the ability to overcome objections while inspiring guests to explore vacation ownership opportunities. The position pays $16 an hour plus commission and bonuses, with top producers consistently earning $200K+. Job Summary The Community Marketing Agent is an island and activity expert! The agent demonstrates a positive attitude within a high-energy environment. In this sales-based role, the Community Marketing Agent works at a variety of concierge style locations throughout popular areas in Waikiki. The agent engages in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers and creates curiosity around Wyndham Resorts. The agent’s primary job function is to invite and incentivize guests to attend a vacation ownership presentation. Essential Job Responsibilities Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time) Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%) Travel Requirements No travel required outside of the home site’s area Minimum Requirements and Qualifications Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required. Must maintain production standards. Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Training requirements None Knowledge and skills Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space. Job experience 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required. Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
