Service Technician – Advanced Cleaning & Restoration

Pay: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and overtime)

The company specializes in advanced surface restoration services for high-end vehicles and industrial manufacturing equipment. They utilize specialized technologies such as dry ice blasting and laser cleaning systems to deliver precise, high-quality results in both shop and field environments.

Position Overview

The Service Technician role is a hands-on technical position responsible for performing detailed cleaning and restoration work on automotive and industrial equipment.

This role requires strong mechanical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following strict safety and procedural standards. Candidates should be comfortable working with advanced equipment in both controlled shop environments and active industrial job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dry ice blasting and laser cleaning equipment for automotive and industrial applications 
• Perform surface restoration on vehicle chassis, components, and industrial machinery 
• Apply protective coatings, including automotive undercoating 
• Set up, prepare, and break down job sites in shop and field environments 
• Inspect, maintain, and ensure proper operation of specialized equipment 
• Follow all safety protocols and compliance requirements 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment 

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair, industrial maintenance, or a related mechanical trade 
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
• High attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications precisely 
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work 
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record 
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required 
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening 
• English proficiency required 

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week 
• Monday through Friday standard schedule 
• Occasional weekend or evening work depending on project needs 
• Overtime paid at time and a half 
• Comp time provided when applicable based on project schedule 

Compensation and Benefits

• $25–$30 per hour starting pay depending on experience
