You will assist in the production of heavy industrial cranes using manual machining equipment while ensuring that quality comes standard with every order.Join our team to help us fulfill our vision: To challenge the possibilities of today by thinking differently.Responsibilities:Must be able to monitor and operate CNC Lathe and/or Horizontal Boring Mill and CNC Planer MillProficient in Conversational CNC Code ProgrammingKnowledge of Siemens 840D and Centroid M400 Controls –OkumaInspect and measure components to ensure correct tolerances are metAbility to work within tight tolerancesMaintain a clean and organized work areaMust be able to ensure a safe work environmentWill be trained on day shift, then position will turn to afternoon shiftEducation/Experience:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience working with CNC horizontal mills, planer mills, and lathesAbility to read blueprints, sketches, and drawingsAbility to use metrological instruments such as micrometersBasic organization, communication, and problem-solving skillsWilling and able to work 2nd shift (3:15 PM - 1:45 AM)Benefits:Competitive wagesComprehensive benefits package, including:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurance401(K)401(K) matchingPaid time offAbout Morgan:For more than 150 years, Morgan Engineering has created a legacy as a world leader in material handling systems.
