When people come into a doctor's office or hospital, they need to be greeted by a competent professional with a warm personality. While each office has a staff, we, also, maintain a float pool of patient service professionals ready to deliver exceptional customer service wherever they are needed. If you love the idea of working in a variety of different practices, meeting new teams, and providing compassionate, joyful care – this is the job for you.
Franciscan Health is a non-profit health care ministry with primary and specialty care physician groups located throughout Indiana. Franciscan is known for our mission of caring.
What you can expect:
FPN Float Pool, Part-time. 6 FTE (24 hours per week)
- Provide exemplary customer service; greet and direct patients, family members, and other visitors.
- Answer incoming calls; respond to inquiries, or direct caller to appropriate staff for assistance.
- Schedule appointments and accurately enters data into scheduling system.
- Register patients and enters or updates demographic and insurance information into EMR system.
- Communicate with clinical staff to maintain patient flow and update waiting patients.
- Collect patient payments; applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
- Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers.
Qualifications:
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year Customer Service Required
- 1 year Healthcare Preferred
