Key Responsibilities Financial Statement Preparation: Direct the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as liaison with internal and external auditors, providing them with the necessary information and support. Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver customized financial reports, analysis, and commentary to senior management and the audit committee. Team Leadership: Supervise, train and mentor financial reporting staff, fostering professional growth and efficient team performance. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. Credentials: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, with significant experience in public accounting and SEC reporting for a public company. Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX. Soft Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Tools Proficiency in MS OWice, familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
