Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRNKern River Transitional CarePay Range: $42.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experienceKern River Transitional Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their highest level of independence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the Physical TherapistAssist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, transfers, balance, and gait activitiesObserve and document residents’ progress, responses, and changes in conditionCommunicate resident updates and concerns to the supervising Physical TherapistEducate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises and safety techniquesMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationFollow all facility policies and applicable state and federal regulationsCollaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary team membersPromote a safe, supportive, and resident-centered environmentQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent California PTA license in good standingCurrent CPR certificationPrevious skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferredStrong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent resident careBenefitsCompetitive payFlexible PRN schedulingSupportive and collaborative rehabilitation teamContinuing training and professional growth opportunitiesPositive and rewarding work environmentJob Type: PRNPay: $42.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experienceKern River Transitional Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are an equal opportunity employer.
