Assurance Staff Accountant (Public Accounting) — Marin County, CAWhy join this team?

- Support audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
- Execute special assignments as firm and client needs evolve.
- Foster strong client relationships and manage expectations with clear communication.
- Organize your workload effectively to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field (required).
- All educational requirements completed to sit for the CPA exam.
- 5+ years of accounting experience (preferred).
- 5+ years working with GAAP (preferred).
- Audit/attest experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and client-focused.
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Base salary: $125,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Annual bonus: 8% – 15% (based on compensation, experience, and hours worked)
