Manager - Statistical Programming (Hybrid)

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Statistical Programming to lead a team of statistical programmers in pharmaceutical research and development for the Neuroscience group. The role oversees statistical programming activities, SAS program development, and regulatory documentation while managing resources and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead statistical programming activities for compounds, indications, or therapeutic areas in early development
  • Manage team of statistical programmers and plan resource allocation
  • Develop and oversee SAS programs for ADaM datasets and Tables, Listings, Figures
  • Create regulatory documentation including reviewers guides and data definition documents
  • Mentor and provide oversight to statistical programmers and analysts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Mathematics
  • 10+ years relevant experience (or 8+ with Master's degree)
  • Previous experience leading statistical programming teams or projects
  • SAS programming expertise for drug development applications
  • In-depth knowledge of CDISC standards and ADaM development
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to estimate programming effort and represent organization cross-functionally
