Human Resources Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Contribute to strategic HR initiatives by supporting projects across Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition. You'll assist in planning and executing programs that promote an inclusive workplace, foster employee growth, and attract top talent to Emerson.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees by preparing materials, coordinating schedules, and helping facilitate a smooth transition into the organization. You'll play a key role in ensuring new hires feel welcomed, informed, and connected from day one.
• Gain exposure to multiple HR functions by rotating across areas such as employee relations, compensation, benefits, and organizational development. This hands-on experience will give you a comprehensive understanding of how HR supports business strategy and employee success.
• Analyze HR data and generate reports to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and support data-driven decision-making. You'll work with tools like Excel or HRIS platforms to help improve processes and enhance employee experience.
• Support HR systems and process improvements by assisting with system updates, troubleshooting HRIS issues, and helping implement enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability for HR teams and employees.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's
• Zero (0) years of related experience
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

The hourly pay for this role is $20.50-$24, commensurate with the year in school and experience each candidate brings to a role.
