Job Title: Human Resources Generalist (Labor Relations)
\nLocation: Seattle, WA – Onsite
\nPay Rate: $50–$55/hr
\nEmployment Type: Contract with potential to extend or convert
\nBenefits: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave, and EAP
\n \nRole & Responsibilities
\nWe are seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a shipping and logistics organization which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in HRIS change management, leaves of absence, and employee relations looking to further their career in labor relations and HR operations.
\n \n- \n
- Process HRIS change transactions (pay changes, transfers, retirements, terminations) in Dayforce and ADP per company guidelines \n
- Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, workers’ compensation, company leaves), determining eligibility and entering payroll data \n
- Partner with HR leadership on employee relations, grievances, coaching, and performance management in union and non-union settings \n
- Develop and deliver manager/employee training; update HR policies, forms, and processes \n
- Support HRIS, timekeeping, leave, and applicant tracking system maintenance and testing \n
Essential Qualifications
\n- \n
- 5+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in labor relations/HR leadership across union and non-union environments; bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred \n
- Dayforce and ADP experience required \n
- Working knowledge of ADA, ADEA, EEO/Affirmative Action, FMLA, FLSA, and OSHA \n
