Business Overview Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products provides sealed and unsealed radiation sources and materials for Medical Imaging sources; Industrial sources for measurement and analysis; Oil Well Logging sources and related products; Reference, Calibration and Environmental Monitoring sources and solutions; Bulk radioisotopes for pharmaceutical, therapeutic and industrial product manufacturing; Services for collection, recycling and disposal of sources and low-activity waste; Sources for industrial Non-Destructive Testing; High-Activity radiation sources for radiation processing and sterilization; Medical and Industrial irradiators for blood irradiation, sterilization or calibration. The Job Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products seeks an AI Project Coordinator / QO Systems Administrator to join our team.The AI Projects Coordinator / QO Systems Administrator reports to the Segment Vice President, Regulatory and Quality Operations and Quality Assurance Manager. This position would manage, support, and/or coordinate AI projects in support of global product registration submissions, including gathering and translating documents. This position would also conduct AI test cases across the Isotope Products segment. This position would manage the administration of existing and planned quality / regulatory systems including but not limited to Document Control, Training, Maintenance of Quality Records, and Microsoft Dynamics D365 and implementation of e-QMS in Latin America and US.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Partner with the Segment VP of Regulatory & Quality Operations to plan, execute, and deploy AI and automation initiatives across Quality Operations, including conducting AI test cases. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Quality Operations, IT, and other teams to identify AI-driven process improvements and operational efficiencies. Use AI tools (e.g. Claude, CoPilot) to analyze KPIs and business metrics and transform rough ideas and outlines into polished deliverables, reports, and presentations, while ensuring risk management and compliance. Develop reusable templates, systems, and workflows that improve execution and efficiency over time. Serve as system administrator for Quality Operations applications, databases, dashboards, and reporting tools. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot QMS platforms in coordination with vendors and IT. Support US and Latin America product registration submissions, including document gathering/translation, license and regulatory reviews, and communication with regulatory agencies and customers on licensing and compliance matters. Administer document control processes (creation, revision, approval workflows, distribution, archival) and support record retrievals for customers, auditors, and staff. Maintain QA documentation, non-conforming reports, and customer license/files, including uploading records into DocuWare. Maintain training records in the Company’s Training System, provide end-user support and systems training, and develop training materials to support new systems or AI implementations. Process customer complaints and product returns, including documentation, filing, and communicating status updates to internal staff. Support supplier qualification by conducting surveys and maintaining supplier files under the guidance of the Quality Systems Manager. Support import/export compliance by preparing shipping documents, filing EEIs, and coordinating with customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve issues. Travel between Valencia and Burbank as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum education (or substitute experience) required: Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, or business discipline. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Minimum experience required: 3+ years of experience in systems administration, project coordination, quality operations, business systems, or related areas. Experience supporting enterprise applications, databases, reporting tools, or quality management systems. Experience with QMS platforms, Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, SQL, or similar technologies. Demonstrated hands-on experience applying generative AI tools to business, quality, or documentation workflows, including evaluating output quality and understanding tool limitations. Working knowledge of automation and business intelligence solutions Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or manufacturing. Abilities and skills required: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions and critical time constraints Demonstrate high level of maturity and confidentiality relating to sensitive information Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Maintain sensitive documents/files Assists in analyzing and establishing plans to meet key project objectives and to identify and resolve issues. Assist in monitoring and managing critical department and project information and schedules. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and AI tools such as Claude and CoPilot.
