As a FiRE+iCE Host/Hostess, you are the first person our guests see and often the last person they interact with before leaving. You set the tone for the entire experience.
This role is about more than greeting and seating. You help manage the flow of the restaurant, keep reservations organized, communicate with the service team, and make sure every guest feels welcomed from the moment they arrive.
What You'll Do
Welcome every guest with a warm smile, eye contact, and positive energy.
Greet guests promptly and make them feel comfortable from the start.
Manage seating in proper rotation to support smooth, fair service.
Maintain accurate table statuses and reservation information.
Assist with reservations, waitlists, walk-ins, large parties, and special requests.
Provide guests with accurate wait times and updates.
Communicate clearly with servers and managers about seating, reservations, and guest needs.
Help enforce the restaurant's two-hour dining limit when needed.
Make sure window tables and other seating areas are assigned based on availability and proper rotation.
Keep the host stand and entrance area clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Stay focused on the host stand and avoid unnecessary distractions during service.
Help create a smooth handoff from the front door to the server and the rest of the FiRE+iCE experience.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
Guest-first attitude and professional appearance.
Dependable and able to work well as part of a team.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with guests and team members is required.
Additional language skills are a plus.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
