We demonstrate this by providing state-of-the-art technology; an expert team of pathologists and technicians; comprehensive services; fast and reliable results; a patient-centered approach; and commitment to continuous improvement.# **Description:*** Maintains technical competency as related to the job functions.* Understands pertinent LIS functions and performs downtime procedures effectively.* Evaluates each procedure performed and chooses appropriate investigative techniques as indicated.* Identifies and resolves problems that may adversely affect test results and notifies appropriate personnel.* Determines acceptability of specimens by performing visual inspections or by recognizing abnormal/unusual results.* Documents unacceptable specimens according to policy.
