Data Center Field Technician

Position Overview Data Center Field Technician will work as part of a fast‑growing, dynamic team and represent Hanley Energy in customer data centers. The role supports installing and maintaining energy management systems, switchgear, UPS, electrical, and power generation equipment to reduce energy costs, ensure 100% uptime, and maintain competitiveness. Key Responsibilities Perform root‑cause analysis of equipment failure Perform limited maintenance tasks Troubleshoot facility and rack‑level events within internal SLA Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work Take operational readings of equipment Utilize CMMS to manage building workflows Meet with customers to identify specific data center building needs and gather requirements Administrative work including data entry in Excel and writing work authorizations and work orders Maintain power and cooling of facility and ensure clean rooms for critical environment Job Qualifications Technical training and/or relevant experience (military or trade school) Experience working in a Data Center or critical environment 2+ years of relevant electrical and/or mechanical work experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Solid leadership and organizational skills Attention to detail with high energy, able to prioritize in a complex, fast‑paced environment Company Benefits & Offerings Competitive salary and benefits Generous paid time off Company vehicle Career progression within a rapidly expanding organization Friendly and supportive working environment Equality and Affidavit Hanley Energy is an equal employment and affirmative action employer.
