Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Senior Power Platform Practitioner. What You Will Be Doing You will serve as the primary technical resource for a client’s Power Platform initiative, working independently to develop applications and establish foundational patterns and governance. In this role, you will build canvas and model-driven Power Apps based on key use cases, ensure the platform’s architecture is scalable, and lead sessions with both technical and business stakeholders. You will document standards, influence platform practices, and help the client prioritize a backlog of use cases to deliver immediate value. This is a 6-month contract position, where you own and drive technical execution, ensuring best practices and strategic planning are incorporated throughout the engagement. Key Responsibilities Develop canvas Power Apps with a focus on quick wins to demonstrate value. Design Dataverse data models—including tables, relationships, and security roles—that support current and future use cases. Build Power Automate flows to handle complex business logic, system integrations, and notifications. Integrate Power Platform solutions with client systems via standard and custom connectors, API calls, Logic Apps, or Azure Functions. Establish foundational platform standards covering environment strategy, naming conventions, solution structure, ALM workflows, and basic governance policies. Lead working sessions to transfer knowledge, explain design choices, and document patterns for client teams. Assess scope risks, recommend tradeoffs, and clarify when Power Platform is appropriate versus other tools. Assist in sequencing use cases for rapid deployment, ensuring early applications deliver tangible value that sets the stage for future scalability. Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of application development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on the Microsoft Power Platform. Proven hands‑on experience with canvas Power Apps, including galleries, forms, components, and Power Fx scripting. In‑depth experience designing and building model‑driven Power Apps — forms, views, business process flows, and security. Strong knowledge of Dataverse architecture, including tables, relationships, and security roles, with the ability to explain when to use Dataverse versus other data stores. Fluency in Power Automate for building cloud flows, handling errors, and managing operational performance in production. Solid understanding of Power Platform ALM—solutions management, environment strategy, source control, and CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps, GitHub). Demonstrable experience helping clients or teams initiate Power Platform projects, establish standards, and implement governance. Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to document decisions, patterns, and governance standards clearly and concisely. Pragmatic judgment to balance platform capabilities with client needs and constraints. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integrations, Power BI, Azure AD, and basic Azure services. Desired Skills & Experience Microsoft certifications such as PL‑400 (Power Platform Developer) or PL‑600 (Power Platform Solution Architect). Experience setting up a Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) or applying Microsoft’s CoE Starter Kit. Development of custom PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls using TypeScript and React. Background working with Dynamics 365 or other Microsoft enterprise applications. Prior consulting or solution architecture experience involving Power Platform implementations.
