This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This position will be part of our Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) On Board Test Equipment (OBTE) team to plan and execute vehicle level integration, test and checkout activities supporting Sentinel, formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), program.What you’ll get to do:Define test requirements and test objectives, using Systems Engineering principlesDevelop integration and test documentation (test plans, test procedures and test reports)Prepare for and execute Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs)Execute the integration, test, and assembly of the AVE in preparation for developmental flight testingIntegrate hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements teams, and the system and segment level teamsDevelop and implement testing methods and test equipmentInterface with software developers and systems engineers in support of integration and test activitiesParticipate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external)Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware componentCompile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirementsMaintain test equipment documentation and follow configuration management requirementsIn this role, you will be responsible for:Synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into element test solutions that acknowledges technical schedule and cost constraintsDevelop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing subsystemsCoordinate integrated testing activitiesServe as a technical lead and mentor to junior engineers on the On board Test Equipment TeamReview and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test programPerform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluationsOverseeing supplier test activities in support or requirement verification and validationBasic Qualifications: 14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 10 Years with PhDActive DoD Secret clearance updated within the last 5 yearsProven innovation strengths and strategic value creationDemonstrated performance, people leadership and customer intimacyStrong understanding of entire product lifecycle, modeling and engineering best practicesStrong communication skills including technical writing and verbal communicationAt least two years of demonstrated technical leadership over a team of engineersProficient in MS Office Products – PowerPoint, Word, Visio, ExcelKnowledge of system integration and test principles and processesKnowledge of Systems Engineering principles, DOORS database, requirements decomposition and allocationGood organizational skills and ability to work with minimal directionPreferred Qualifications:Experience with project management including cost and schedule reportingActive DOD Top Secret ClearanceExperience with Electronic Test DevelopmentPrior experience in instrumentation of structures for static, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses, or electrical component/RF equipment testKnowledge/experience with RCC 319/324Experience with ICBMs (MM, PK, Small Missile) or DOD programsExperience overseeing supplier execution of dynamic and thermal environmental testingExperience overseeing component and system qualification and verification testingBenefits SummaryAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position has a 9/80 standard work schedule. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.#SentinelintandtestPrimary Level Salary Range: $151,400.00 - $227,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
