Nursing Scheduler / Central Supply – Full-Time
Location: Vicennes, IN and Surrounding Areas
Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Nursing Scheduler / Central Supply Coordinator to support operations within our skilled nursing facilities in Vicennes, IN and surrounding areas . This position plays a vital role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage, accurate payroll processing, and effective supply management to support quality resident care.

The Nursing Scheduler / Central Supply Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining nursing staff schedules, monitoring attendance, coordinating staffing needs, preparing payroll-related documentation, and managing central supply inventory. This role works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources, and facility leadership to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Staff Scheduling & Payroll Support

• Create, maintain, and post monthly nursing department schedules.

• Track and update schedule changes; approve shift trades as delegated by the DON.

• Monitor and document call-offs, tardiness, and attendance trends.

• Collaborate daily with Human Resources to ensure attendance policies are applied consistently and timely.

• Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports in accordance with established deadlines.

• Generate staffing, vacancy, agency usage, and productivity reports for the DON, Administrator, and leadership team.

• Verify employment data and assist with background checks as assigned.

Central Supply & Transportation Coordination

• Maintain inventory levels for nursing and facility supplies; order and track supplies as needed.

• Ensure proper storage, documentation, and distribution of supplies in accordance with facility policy.

• Coordinate transportation services for residents as needed, including scheduling and documentation.

• Maintain accurate records related to transportation scheduling and usage.

• Previous experience as a Nursing Scheduler required.

• Prior central supply or inventory management experience preferred.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with scheduling software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
