Facilities Worker

Facilities WorkerThe Facilities Worker is responsible for providing superior guest service to patrons of the casino by keeping the interior and exterior of the casino clean and presentable during business hours. Duties include emptying trash cans, cleaning and maintaining the restroom facilities, replenishing items such as tissue and hand soap, sweeping and mopping and wiping down casino gaming machines. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by department manager.Starting wage is $17.31/hr, increasing to $17.91/hr at successful completion of 90 days. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.Education:High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredExperience & Requirements:Must have experience in general housekeepingMust have knowledge of using cleaning solutions and repairing cleaning equipmentPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hoursThe ability to lift up to 75 poundsMobility to climb stairs on a routine basisMust be able to tolerate a smoke filled environmentAdditional Requirements:Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidaysAll applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
