About the job Project Engineer - Land Development
We are seeking a Project Engineer with experience in land development engineering to support the design and execution of site development projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong AutoCAD expertise and hands-on experience producing technical drawings for land development.
- Prepare and review engineering designs and construction documents for land development projects
- Collaborate with surveyors and project teams on construction layout and site planning activities
- Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and grading plans
- Support the conversion of raw land into developable plots through precise engineering design
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with local regulations and standards
- Assist with project coordination and contribute to efficient execution of workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on AutoCAD experience specifically applied to land development projects
- Experience working as a Land Development Engineer
- Practical experience supporting land development workflows, including one or more of the following:
- Road design
- Drainage design
- Utility design
- Grading
- Construction layout
- Ability to produce precise, high-quality engineering drawings
- Experience supporting surveyors and construction layout activities
- Strong understanding of land development processes and site design principles
- Familiarity with local permitting requirements and regulatory standards
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a team setting
Compensation: $61,000 - $90,000
