Position Overview:

As a travel rn in telemetry, you will play a vital role in monitoring and caring for cardiac patients in a specialized setting. Working day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, you'll deliver routine and complex nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and apply your expertise to improve patient outcomes. Required Skills:

• Valid rn license in state of employment or a compact license
• Bls certification from the american heart association (aha)
• Acls certification from the american heart association (aha)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to various clinical situations and patient needs

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical record systems such as epic
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Additional certifications relevant to cardiac care or telemetry
• Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of science in nursing (bsn)
• At least 1 year of current telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical scenarios

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel and work in various healthcare facilities
• Successful completion of an organizational orientation program
• Flexibility to work every other weekend as required
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
