Budget Management Analyst

Salary: $95,000 - 135,000 per year

Requirements:

U.S. citizenship, due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements Ability to obtain a security clearance Twenty-four credit hours in mathematics or business-related courses from an accredited college, or Level III Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Budget Management At least 10 years of managerial accounting experience in a Program Management Office dealing with government funding restrictions Former military experience Experience with the Standard Operation and Maintenance, Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) is highly preferred Responsibilities:

Provide budget management support by collecting, developing, and analyzing data for monthly and quarterly Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) reviews Review funding request documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with specific funding guidelines within two business days of receipt Monitor and track funds in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and update the organizations tracking tool daily Track commitments in GFEBS, identify inconsistencies with the spend plan, and report them to the Government Resource Manager weekly Track disbursements and provide the Government Resource Manager with a monthly status update using GFEBS Business Intelligence (BI) reports, within three business days after the preceding month ends Technologies:
