Work Environment

In the heart of Cape Coral, our Surgical Center is designed to facilitate both inpatient and outpatient care with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest medical technologies. As a full-time Physician Assistant, you will work onsite from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, within a supportive team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Our center provides a dynamic work setting, promoting continuous learning and patient engagement to improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and gather medical histories to assess patients' physical and mental health.
• Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, facilitating informed decisions regarding patient care.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans, collaborating with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient management.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with established protocols, ensuring each patient's treatment promotes safety and efficacy.
• Counsel patients and their families about health management, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications to enhance wellness.
• Maintain accurate patient records that reflect treatment plans and outcomes, initiating timely referrals when necessary.
• Provide consultation-level services related to cardiorespiratory and surgical conditions, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge to serve our patients.
• Scope of practice includes performing invasive procedures as delegated by supervising physicians based on competency and training.
• Adapt to department needs by possibly adjusting schedules to accommodate patient care demands.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, based on experience.
