Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to join our dedicated team of imaging professionals. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound exams such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Accurately document exams and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound practices and imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
