This role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders, security teams, IAM architects, and technical teams to gather requirements, support IAM solution design, manage identity governance initiatives, facilitate integrations, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), business analysis, security frameworks, identity governance, and enterprise application integrations, along with a passion for cybersecurity and secure access management. Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Identity & Access Management (IAM) Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid Onsite 3 Days per Week) Duration: Contract Job Description We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst Identity & Access Management (IAM) to support enterprise identity and access management initiatives. The Technical Business Analyst Identity & Access Management (IAM) will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define, design, implement, and optimize IAM solutions across the organization. The Technical Business Analyst Identity & Access Management (IAM) will work closely with IAM architects, security teams, application owners, and business units to develop secure and compliant access management processes. The ideal Technical Business Analyst Identity & Access Management (IAM) will possess strong analytical skills, IAM domain expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This Technical Business Analyst Identity & Access Management (IAM) role requires experience supporting identity governance, authentication solutions, access controls, compliance initiatives, and enterprise integrations. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document IAM requirements. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Define use cases for: User onboarding, offboarding, and role transitions (Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes). Access requests and approval workflows. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Conduct gap analysis of current IAM processes and recommend improvements. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define IAM objectives. IAM Solution Design Support Partner with IAM architects to support the design and implementation of: Single Sign-On (SSO) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Identity Federation solutions Assist with: Role modeling and entitlement mapping. Access policy development. Workflow design and optimization. Create process flows, system diagrams, and data models. Technical Analysis & Integration Analyze and document integrations between IAM platforms and enterprise systems. Support integrations with: Active Directory LDAP Workday SAP SuccessFactors ServiceNow Salesforce Assist with API-based integrations and data mapping activities. Work closely with development teams on IAM configurations, enhancements, and implementation activities. Troubleshoot integration and access-related issues. Identity Governance & Compliance Support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) initiatives. Define and document: Access certification processes. Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls. Governance workflows. Ensure compliance with: SOX GDPR PCI-DSS ISO 27001 Support audit preparation, remediation efforts, and compliance reporting. Testing & Validation Develop test plans, test cases, and UAT documentation. Execute system, integration, and user acceptance testing. Validate provisioning and de-provisioning workflows. Ensure IAM solutions meet business requirements and security standards. Document testing results and coordinate issue resolution. Required Skills & Experience 8 10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Cybersecurity, or related enterprise security environments. Experience working with enterprise IAM platforms and identity governance solutions. Proven experience supporting large-scale IAM implementations and integrations.
