Direct Support Professional (Adult Group Homes)

Direct Support Professional (DSP) As a DSP, you will provide care and behavioral support for adults with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. This is a hands‑on, mission‑driven role ideal for individuals interested in human services, psychology, social work, youth care, mental health or caregiving. Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals) Help implement behavior support plans Teach life, social, and communication skills Respond to and de‑escalate crisis situations Maintain daily documentation Transport to school, appointments, and community outings Work closely with the clinical treatment team Schedule & Location Shifts: 2nd (2:00 pm–11:00 pm) and 3rd (10:00 pm–9:00 am). Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and at least one weekend day. Orientation class: Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:00 pm in Orlando, near Orlando International Airport. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. No prior experience required; comprehensive two‑week orientation and ongoing job training provided. Currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Other Requirements Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings (drug test, physical, TB test). Must be at least 21 years of age. Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a car and a passenger van (up to 15 passengers).
