As an Accounting Intern, you will be a key member of the payroll team, supporting the daily operations. What will you do? Perform balance sheet account reconciliations Prepare general ledger journal entries Prepare responses to audit requests from internal and external auditors Field questions from stakeholders within the organization to provide insights and elevate issues to management when necessary Ability to apply accounting principles through journal entries and account reconciliations Effectively communicate with stakeholders across the business Understand payroll laws and regulations impacting the business and employees, including the financial impact Ability to prioritize and multitask while producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment More about you Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and working knowledge of accounting principles Experience with automation tools, including Alteryx and Excel Macros Ability to work hybrid office hours at our office in Buffalo, NY Shift details M-F Who we are Our business is all about people, and that includes you.
