AGGREGATE PLANT MANAGER

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Ensure all operations follow all legal and regulatory requirements, including air and water quality, permit conditions, dumpsite policies and MSHA, OSHAAssure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observedProvide technical assistance to site superintendents and general managerAssist superintendents with coordinating cost effective stripping, mining, crushing and reclamation plansEnsure that quality of all materials exceeds customer expectationsCoordinate with internal customers and external salespeople to determine production and schedulesProvide superintendents with operating efficiency reports that measure key performance indicatorsCreate monthly financial summaries to review with location teamsWill coordinate and plan permit requirements, mine planning, aggregate production scheduling, work daily with division GMOther Duties assigned as neededMinimum Qualifications:Safety first attitude requiredPrevious supervisory experience requiredWorking knowledge of crushing, washing aggregatesWorking knowledge of mine planning, stripping and extractionComputer Skills and working knowledge of Microsoft excelRequires high degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising communication and observationA valid driver's license in good standingAbility to pass a criminal background, drug screen and functional testingBenefits:Full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits: Company paid Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401K with Company Match, Profit Sharing, 8 Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Leave, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance ProgramKnife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
