Project Management Coordinator

Digital Transformation Project Manager
Join the Knowledge Advancement and Insights (KAI) team to drive digital transformation and support organizational change management at a large biotech pharmaceutical leader. As a contractor, you will lead project management activities for a new digital application, shaping assets that accelerate the adoption of advanced tools and processes. This short-term position provides the opportunity to contribute directly to evolving how cross-functional teams operate.
Location: Remote - Newbury Park, CA
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 2 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $25/$28 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage the development and rollout of a new digital application
- Organize and document user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Facilitate effective meetings and engage with product owners to define user stories
- Create change management communications, training materials, and adoption resources
- Develop onboarding and upskilling assets for project management processes
- Utilize AI and digital technologies to optimize workflows
- Support the evolution of digital transformation and ways of working across teams
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies and Jira
- Demonstrated ability to develop training materials and digital processes (PDFs, videos, etc.)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 or more years of direct experience in Project Management
- 5 or more years of Agile or Jira experience
Top 3 Must Have Skills
1. 5+ years of project management experience
2. 5+ years of Agile or Jira experience
3. Ability to create training materials or digital processes (PDFs, videos, etc.)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the PDT Runway Product Team
- Develop change management assets to drive tool and process adoption
- Build learning and onboarding resources for project management upskilling
Basic Qualifications
- Associate degree and 2 years of experience
- 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience
- High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience
