Laboratory Department System Supervisor

Responsibilities

The Laboratory Department System Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day department operation. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in clinical area as it relates to Laboratory results. This individual helps maintain excellent rapport among Laboratory, Physicians, Nursing Staff and other Hospital Departments. This individual works closely with the Laboratory Director to maintain policy, procedures and day-to-day operations of Department and Laboratory.

FTE:.90 (3-12s)

Hours: 7:00pm-7:30am

Days: Friday-Saturday

Qualifications

Education

Required Degree: Bachelor's

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Required: Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License (SU)

Training: ASCP MT or equivalent; LIS Training and or experience

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience

Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Experience: Five Years

Preferred: Prior experience in leadership
