Technical Sales Specialist - Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry & Omics

Technical Sales Specialist role within Thermo Fisher Scientific's Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division, responsible for driving revenue growth through instrument and consumables sales while providing technical expertise to account managers and customers in omics and mass spectrometry applications.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize new client opportunities; develop sales strategies to grow market penetration
- Support Account Managers in uncovering opportunities and building customer relationships as trusted technical advisor
- Manage sales funnel and forecast; coordinate with country leads to achieve sales goals and metrics
- Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and scientific leaders to promote products
- Lead technical training for sales teams and coordinate with internal specialists to address customer challenges
Requirements
- 5+ years sales experience in analytical instruments or relevant markets with complex accounts
- Bachelor's degree in science; Master's degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of omics workflows, proteomics, metabolomics, and mass spectrometry applications
- Experience conducting seminars and customer presentations
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Commercial acumen and drive to pursue and close new business opportunities
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages as needed
