We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support daily order processing and shipment coordination for a manufacturing operation in South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly with customers and internal teams, and maintains strong attention to detail. The person in this role will help keep orders accurate, documentation organized, and delivery information moving efficiently from order receipt through shipment.

Responsibilities:
• Report to the Customer Service Manager and provide day-to-day support for customer account activity.
• Process incoming customer orders accurately and issue timely order confirmations.
• Update existing orders to reflect revisions, changes, and customer-specific requirements.
• Prepare production work orders with complete instructions so manufacturing teams can execute requests correctly.
• Coordinate outbound shipments by working with dispatch teams and transportation providers to arrange daily deliveries.
• Create, compile, and distribute shipping paperwork needed for scheduled shipments.
• Upload completed shipment records and related documents to the designated server for tracking and retention.
• Provide customers or internal partners with shipping documentation for daily movements as needed.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer communication related to orders, shipment status, and service needs.• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Working knowledge of order entry processes and customer order management.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when preparing orders and shipping documents.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems for data entry, document handling, and record maintenance.
