About Our Agency
Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams. We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, retirement planning, business insurance, college planning, and renters insurance. Our office is located in Scottsboro, AL. Our office is open 9:00-5:00. Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member. Our agency has received awards including: Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Senior Vice President's Club, and Bronze Tablet.
Role Description
As a team member for David Perkins State Farm, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers' success. You grow our agency through meaningful client relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. You will help grow our book of business and your paycheck by bringing on new customers by prospecting, uncovering their needs, and providing insurance solutions to help cover those needs. Grow your career as you better your community. As an attentive, sociable, and sales-minded professional, we are eager to have you on our team. With success you would have the potential to open your own agency in the future if desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide information about insurance products and services.
- Assist clients with policy applications
- Handle client inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Prospect for new customers
- Ask for referrals
- Follow up on our marketing leads
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Hard working, determined, competitive, coachable, and a great positive attitude
- Experience in customer service or sales preferred.
Compensation: $35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
