Payroll Coordinator | $55,000–$70,000 | On-site | Direct Hire | Des Moines, IA

A well-established organization headquartered in the Des Moines metro is seeking a Payroll professional to join its corporate accounting and finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with payroll systems (ideally Workday), maintaining data accuracy, and supporting employees across multiple business locations. Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for employees across multiple locations
• Review and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Research and resolve payroll-related questions and discrepancies
• Assist with bonus processing and special payroll transactions
• Maintain employee payroll records and supporting documentation
• Support payroll reporting and month-end activities
• Coordinate payroll distribution and payment issue resolution

Qualifications
• 1-3+ years of payroll experience
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
