Position Overview N2IA is seeking a JIRA Administrator to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer, as well as assist the organization to improve visibility for enterprise operations through the improvement of Jira utilization. The primary objective of the program migrate and modernize a fragmented IT environment into a unified ecosystem that not only provides diverse services to internal and external user, but also to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities. Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems. Manage and optimize JIRA configurations to meet business and technical requirements. Integrate JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, and other DevOps tools. Support Agile methodologies and related project management practices. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to JIRA administration. Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to improve processes and system functionality. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field orfive (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration. 3+ years of experience administering Jira. 5+ years of experience working in Scrum and/or Agile environments Experience with enterprise-level Jira implementations and integrations Demonstrated experience configuring and managing JIRA workflows. Experience managing issue tracking systems and workflow automation. Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow development and permission management. Experience integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools. Experience with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring is required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Hold and active DOD Secret Clearance. This is a hybrid position; candidates must be located within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, or Virginia) and be available for in-person meetings as required.
