This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.What we do: The Senior Manager, Workplace Services is responsible for leading and integrating Workplace Operations, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Real Estate Strategy across all Supernal facilities. This role ensures the delivery of safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective workplace environments while driving strategic planning, operational excellence, and governance.This position serves as the single threaded leader for Workplace Services, responsible for ensuring workplace safety, optimizing real estate investments, and enabling operational continuity across offices, labs, and test environments.What you can do:Leadership & StrategyLead and oversee all Workplace Services functions, including EHS, workplace operations, and real estate strategyLead and manage a small team of workplace services professionals, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture while providing ongoing coaching, development, and performance management to support individual growth and overall team effectivenessDevelop and execute a comprehensive workplace services strategy aligned with company growth, operational needs, and financial goalsServe as a strategic advisor to leadership on workplace safety, real estate decisions, and operational riskDrive integration of workplace services across multiple sites and evolving organizational structuresEnvironmental Health & Safety (EHS) LeadershipDevelop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide EHS programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, and applicable regulationsIdentify workplace hazards and implement mitigation strategies across facilities, labs, and test environmentsLead incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action plans, including workers compensationEnsure safe handling and management of hazardous materials and wasteInterface with regulatory agencies and manage audits, inspections, and compliance reportingPromote a strong safety culture through training, communication, and continuous improvement initiativesWorkplace Operations & Facilities ManagementLead day-to-day workplace operations across all facilities, ensuring consistent delivery of servicesOversee physical security programs, including management of security guard contractors, access control systems, surveillance cameras (CCTV), and incident response protocols to ensure the safety and protection of employees, assets, and facilitiesManage vendor relationships (janitorial, maintenance, security, workplace services) and oversee vendor performance, service delivery, and continuous improvement initiativesCoordinate workplace modifications, relocations, and operational readiness across active and inactive facilitiesEnsure workplace environments support productivity, safety, and employee experienceMaintain operational governance frameworks and documentationReal Estate Strategy & Portfolio ManagementLead strategic planning and oversight of Supernal’s corporate real estate portfolioOwn lease lifecycle management including negotiations, renewals, amendments, and subleasing opportunitiesDrive workplace planning and space utilization strategies aligned with organizational needs and restructuringConduct financial and operational analysis to optimize occupancy costs and portfolio efficiencyDevelop reporting, metrics, and executive-level insights to support real estate decision-makingManage relationships with brokers, landlords, and real estate service providersLead office consolidations, expansions, and footprint optimization strategiesFinancial & Vendor ManagementManage workplace services budgets, vendor spend, and cost optimization initiativesOversee and assist with procurement processes including purchase requisitions, contracts, and invoicingEnsure financial discipline across workplace operations and real estate investmentsGovernance & ComplianceEstablish and maintain governance frameworks for workplace services and real estate operationsEnsure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligationsMaintain accurate documentation for audits, reporting, and operational continuityCross-Functional PartnershipPartner with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Engineering, and Test teams to support workplace needsAlign workplace services with business priorities and organizational strategySupport business continuity planning and operational resilienceWhat you can contribute:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)10-15+ years of combined experience in EHS, workplace operations, and/or corporate real estateStrong knowledge of EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA) and safety management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 preferred)Experience managing corporate real estate portfolios and lease agreementsProven track record managing vendors, facilities operations, and workplace servicesStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost analysis, and procurement processesStrong Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel, PowerPoint. Outlook and WordExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, evolving environmentHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesYou may also be able to contribute:Master’s degree in a related fieldProfessional certifications (e.g., CSP, NEBOSH, IFMA, LEED)Experience in aviation, R&D, manufacturing, or high-tech environments #FJBase pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
