Creative, passionate, and driven Graphic Artist that utilizes a strong sense of brand identity, color, graphic design, and basic production art techniques to create professional artwork that is unique, one of a kind, and on brand. The Artist will partner with other in-house design teams to maintain branding and seasonal creative direction through visual storytelling. This person needs to be results-oriented, and a team player with a passion for nutrition and fitness apparel. This is a Mid to Senior Level position depending on experience and portfolio submitted. SALARY REQUIREMENTS: Determined upon each individual skill set REPORTS TO: Apparel Director and Tech Design Lead JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Responsible for creating apparel artwork primarily for our 1st Phorm Apparel Division including but not limited to artwork designed specifically for: t-shirts, hoodies, and hats. This person will also create unique designs for our other in house brands as needed: SupplementSuperstores, RealAF, and Arete.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of presentation decks and collection boards.
• Creation of non-calendared special art request graphic concepts.
• Local trend shopping, reference and research and development for multiple apparel embellishment techniques, including: screen print, heat transfers and appliques, embroidery, etc.
• Application of typography skills for font research, development, and implementation in apparel graphics.
• Maintain an active understanding of trends in apparel and sports / pop culture, consumer insights, new business opportunities, and competitors in the market to influence design aesthetic and strategy through the development of mood, trend, and ideation boards.
• Confidently share fresh perspectives that will enhance creativity and promote new ideas through written and verbal communications to internal partners.
• Create presentations for design reviews with multiple mock-ups of design choices.
• Work closely with design and media team to cohesively market unique artwork developed.
• Ability to create technical packages of artwork with knowledge base of decoration application in order to hand off to print house partners.
• Communicate clearly to vendors what is needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Arts or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• (REQUIRED) Must provide a strong professional portfolio showcasing a wide range of design skills/abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change, and maintain composure under pressure
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards team, vendors, and clients
• Experienced level knowledge using Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Skills in typography
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; should be able to deliver ideas and decisions in a professional manner
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to work effectively and cross-functionally across all teams and departments
• Can manage projects individually or as a part of a team
• Results driven and solutions focused
• Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment
• Be able to adopt the knowledge of the fitness industry and nutrition

COMPUTER SKILLS To perform the job successfully, the individual hired should:

• Be proficient on Mac platform
• Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and exceptional ability with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must
