Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Representative in Canal Winchester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, complete routine patrols of assigned areas, and help to deter incidents while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.09 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and report unusual findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and following site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entry points, loading and shipping areas, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site. Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by monitoring assigned screening areas, verifying credentials or shipment documentation, and maintaining awareness of security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
